Liturgy
The Divine Office, the Official Prayer of the Church, is one that has been sung by countless Benedictine Monks and Nuns for hundreds of years from the 5th Century down to the present day and continues to be sung by the Tyburn Nuns, seven times a day.
Holy Mass for Tyburn Monastery Rotorua
Rev. Fr. Carl Telford has now kindly taken up the chaplaincy of our community. He will be living on site in the Chaplains flat. The new Mass times are as follows for the monastery in Rotorua only (Holy Mass at Tyburn Auckland is at 9.30am everyday) and any future changes will be noted here:

During the day the Sisters do Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. If you would like to do an adoration (for a half hour e.g.) please contact the Guest Mistress.

Main meal is at midday. Breakfast is self- serve in the mornings. Tea/coffee available any time of the day. Please try to be punctual when the meals are being served. It would be appreciated if the Spirit of Monastic Silence could be maintained, in respect of other retreatants.
