Monastic Life

We are one close-knit, world-wide, Benedictine Family.

Monastic Work

...is one of the basic principles of the Rule of Benedict, both intellectual work and manual labour.

Recreation

We gather together as a community each day for one hour of recreation. God is glorified by joyous recreations, as St Paul says: “Rejoice, rejoice in the Lord always, I say again rejoice.”

Benedictine Hospitality

...is an essential part of our Charism.

We welcome anyone who wishes to visit the Monastery. The Monastery is open to people from all walks of life, "any creed or no creed" as they say. Check our Retreats area for details.

Let all guests who arrive be received as Christ, because He will say: ‘I was a stranger and you took Me in.’
